alokori

alokori is a music and experimental arts project formed by Sara Constant and An Laurence. Incorporating elements from contemporary classical, improvised, electronic and theatrical music, their work explores the contingent and the interstitial. alokori was formed in 2018 with the aim of exploring listening, music, and sound as a basis for interdisciplinary artistic practice.

alokori has presented work in Canada (Innovations en concert; Canadian Music Centre; Waterloo Region Contemporary Music Sessions) and the United States (Oh My Ears festival), and in 2023 will present new interdisciplinary projects in Montreal with Festival Accès Asie and Codes d’accès.
